The Eames Insitute of Infinite Curiousities is one of the largest permanent exhibitions of the work of Ray and Charles Eames.  Standard Issue was asked to work with the Eames Institute to create a vehicle to transport the visitors into the mind of the Eameses. We created momenets of discovery and play, while ensuring the space can continue to function as a working collection.

The exhibition features a custom display table that pulls inspiration from Ray's iconic freeform drawings, as well as a site-specific curtain to define the "chair tasting" space. The design drew from the playful nature of the Eames and strived to honor the rich legacy of Charles and Ray.
