Axonometric of Sustainability Space

As part of Chicago’s Design Days, Standard Issue transformed the 3rd floor of their Fulton Market showroom into a calming oasis, celebrating MillerKnoll’s sustainability efforts toward a better tomorrow. Upon entering, visitors are greeted by a blue-and-green curtain that envelops the space, setting the stage for a series of “stories” showcasing MillerKnoll’s sustainability initiatives. These stories, told through materials, furniture, and natural elements, highlight the company's commitment to sustainable practices—such as the 30% material reduction between the Mirra and Mirra 2 chairs or the use of timber logs to emphasize sustainable forestry.
